External wall insulation — warmer walls, new elevations.
External wall insulation (EWI) fixes insulation boards to the outside of the building and finishes them with a reinforced render system. It is a strong option for solid-wall homes and refurbishments, improving thermal performance without losing internal floor space — and it gives the property a completely new exterior.

Questions
Common questions
Is my house suitable for external wall insulation?
EWI is commonly used on solid-wall properties, but suitability depends on the building, its condition and any planning considerations. We are happy to look at your property and talk it through.
Will I need planning permission?
It depends on the property and location — for example listed buildings, conservation areas or changes to the front elevation may need consent. Check with your local planning authority before work starts.
Do you work on larger EWI schemes?
Yes. We supply teams to main contractors and developers for multi-property and commercial EWI projects. See our trade page for more.
